Alex’s Moving and Labor is a locally owned Rock Island shop, one crew and one flat price standing in for the meter. The person who answers the phone is Alex himself, the same one running the crew at your door on moving day.

Alex started Alex’s Moving and Labor with one truck and a simple idea: give Quad Cities folks a fair flat price, work hard, and let them book a full move or just the labor, whatever they actually need. He had seen too many neighbors put on an hourly clock and blindsided by a bill nobody warned them about, so he did the opposite, one clear number up front and a crew that hustles.
To this day there is no call center and no broker taking a cut, only Alex and his own crew, loading a rental truck in Rock Island one morning and moving a family across to Davenport that afternoon.
One truck to the whole metro
None of this came off a billboard. Alex’s Moving and Labor grew because the Quad Cities folks he moved kept calling him back, and sending their neighbors.
